Overview

The Slack integration connects your Slack workspace to Telemetron, enabling real-time notifications, AI-powered support workflows, and seamless collaboration between your team and the AI agent.

Prerequisites

  • A Slack workspace where you have permission to install apps
  • Admin or owner access to authorize the integration

Setup

Initiate the connection

In Telemetron, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Slack and click Connect with Slack.

Authorize in Slack

You will be redirected to Slack’s OAuth authorization page. Review the requested permissions and click Allow to grant Telemetron access to your workspace.

Confirm the connection

After authorization, you will be redirected back to Telemetron. The integration page will display your connected workspace information.

Configuration

Once connected, configure the following settings:
  • Notification channels — Select which Slack channels receive notifications from Telemetron (e.g., new cases, escalations, resolution updates).
  • Notification settings — Choose which events trigger Slack notifications and customize notification content.

How It Works

  • Notifications are sent to your configured Slack channels when relevant events occur, such as new support cases, status changes, or escalations.
  • The AI agent can interact via Slack to provide updates and assist with support workflows.
  • Your team can collaborate on support cases directly within Slack alongside dashboard workflows.
The connected state in Telemetron shows your Slack workspace name and connection status.

Troubleshooting

IssueSolution
OAuth flow failsEnsure you have admin permissions in your Slack workspace and that pop-ups are not blocked.
Notifications not appearingVerify the correct channels are selected in notification settings and that the Telemetron bot has been invited to those channels.
Connection shows as disconnectedRe-authorize by clicking Connect with Slack again. The previous token may have been revoked.
